Stopped by the Photography 414 gallery in Fredericksburg TX today. I was walking by and noticed that it had Big Bend photos and they were by James Evans. It was nice to see his photos in person than on his website or in magazines. They are much better in person. I saw some of his recent night pictures in Texas Monthly and wasn't too impressed, but in person they are much better--I guess that makes sense.
