Sunday, I went to Bayview Wisconsin near the Apostle Islands to see what kind of photo possibilities there were for me and to take pictures. Well I found a very nice little town and nothing that I was interested in shooting. I realize I need to take the ferry to Madeline Island and then explore and most likely rent a kayak to access the other islands.

What should have happened is that I had my Holga with lots of film and stopped and shot along the way. Lots of open fields and trees and lots of cool clouds. Instead I had to keep driving and I didn't bring the Holga, only the Fuji. I should have stopped anyway and shot with the Fuji.

Got to remember to stop and shoot when things look right instead of going to some supposed destination with the blinders on.

If I want a real adventure--I think in the winter you can drive to Madeline Island on the ice! That would be amazingly fun. Then you can hike out to the other islands. Of course the ice has got to be thick, which means very cold weather. I think this still happens--worth checking into.
