Good News!
I just got word that I was accepted in the show: 22Miles: Celebrating Minnehaha Creek! It's a juried show that will be held at the Edina Art Center. The opening is Thurs. July 8th, 5-8pm.
Here's the photo that was accepted into the show. I was at the falls last weekend. The water was much lower, even though it's been raining for days, and the branches have been trimmed away. I did get some better shots of the falls. Since there was a plein aire (sp?) artist setting up on the other side of the fence, I too jumped the fence for a closer view. Took these new ones with the Holga. I took another shot of the above photo with the holga, but since the branches are gone and the water was lower, I couldn't duplicate the shot--I just thought it'd be fun to see the difference. I'll get at that film sooner or later...
