I was just thinking about the way people react to weather, mainly cold. How can you not think about that in Northern Minnesota. In central Texas 30 degrees is freezing cold and people think the end of the world is at hand when it gets that cold. It was 30 degrees yesterday in Grand Marais and I saw three people wearing flip-flops. Also, along Lake Superior I saw many people fishing and some tooling around in boats and it was about 25 degrees. The building in the below photo, Lake Superior Ruins is covered with ice now and two different times I saw someone sitting on it fishing. Each time I was mad because I wanted to photograph it with the ice and get detail shots of the old wood.
